University Health and Counseling Services (UHCS) is offering influenza vaccines (both the injectable “shot” and the FluMist nasal vaccine) for students and staff. It is recommended that ALL people age six months and older be vaccinated EVERY YEAR against influenza.
Even if you do not believe you are at risk for serious complications, you are likely in contact with people who have compromised immunity. Please do your part to keep everyone in our community healthy by getting vaccinated and using proper hygiene.
The cost of the flu vaccine is $15 at UHCS. This may be paid with cash, check or Purple Points and students may put it on their student bill.
UHCS is offering [link destination="http://www.uww.edu/uhcs/brochures/FluClinics2013.pdf" text="immunization clinics"] in the evening and walk-in flu vaccine clinics – please see dates below – in addition to our regular office hours.
