Mock event
On Thursday, Oct. 24, UW-Whitewater will hold a mock event to practice the campus’s response in the case of an illness/disease outbreak. The event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Williams Center.
There is no illness outbreak on campus – this is only a practice event.
University Health and Counseling Services will be on site along with other campus departments and health/safety organizations from the region.
Students are encouraged to visit the mock event to see how the process would work in the case of a real situation. A free sandwich and drink will be given to the first 200 student visitors.
While this is only a mock event, students who visit will be able to get their flu vaccine for $10 (and free cold care kit) at the same time. You don’t need to get flu vaccine in order to participate.
