Help us welcome future Warhawks
Dear campus colleagues,
Our next Warhawk Ready Day takes place on Friday, March 6, on the Whitewater campus. This is an exciting day for admitted students (and their families) to learn more about the university experience and our campus traditions as they prepare to enroll for the fall 2020 semester.
Additional upcoming events that are critical to our enrollment efforts include:
- Tuesday, March 3 – Sophomore Visit Day (330 high school sophomores from Wisconsin expected on campus)
- Saturday, March 7 – LLAVE or Latinos Logrando Altas Visiones Educativas (in English, Latinos achieving higher educational visions; the event allows prospective Spanish-speaking students and their families to explore the campus in depth: touring the campus, eating in our dining halls, and learning about campus resources)
- Friday, March 13 – Warhawk Preview Day (future students and families explore campus in depth: touring the residence halls, meeting with academic departments, eating in our dining halls, and learning about how we help students succeed)
- Friday, March 13 – DanceScapes Workshop (middle school students)
Everyone plays a role in recruitment. You can help! It’s easy to get involved. Help us greet future Warhawks and their families by wearing purple, wearing your nametag, answering questions and offering a ready smile! Help make sure our offices, classrooms and campus spaces look their very best.
If you know of additional events where prospective students will be visiting, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We appreciate your help in making our future Warhawks and their families feel welcome!
