Nominations open for 2020-21 University Writing Awards
The University Writing Awards Committee would like to remind faculty and instructional academic staff that nominations may be submitted at any time for next year’s competition. Student work from Spring, Summer, and Fall 2020 classes will be eligible for consideration for the awards that will be announced in 2021.
As this semester comes to a close, please watch for examples of outstanding writing by undergraduates in your classes and consider nominating them for an award in one of the following categories: expository essays, research papers, creative writing, journalistic writing, scientific or technical writing, professional writing, reviews or critiques, marketing communications, reflections and personal responses, freshman writing, and other genres (including multi-author projects). Full details may be found on the University Writing Awards webpage.
Nominations must be submitted electronically using the web form available at http://my.uww.edu/writingawards (log-in required).
For more information, please contact Dr. Elizabeth Hachten, Chair of the University Writing Awards Committee, 262-472-1713 or email her at email@example.com.
