Hello, future Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP) students!
Research occurs across all majors and fields. The Undergraduate Research Program (URP) office invites you to apply to the RAP program via our website:
We invite you to watch RAP video: https://youtu.be/Ts84uwQDxvA
If you have less than 72 credits, or if you are new to campus, you qualify! The program is designed as an introduction to research work — to help you figure out if research is a passion of yours — or simply want to learn more about how to find answers to questions. Your research project may be interviewing people, analyzing data, creating art, working in a lab, brainstorming with faculty and peers, creating a program/game, building a prototype, or reviewing literature in your field... and the list goes on. All eligible students are encouraged to apply.
And did we mention?
- you get paid hourly for your time (up to 125 hours over the course of the academic year)
- the program is flexible and fits easily into your schedule
- you can build your resume and skills
- you can explore research and creative interests
- Basically, you are getting paid to learn
If you have any questions about RAP, please email us at rap@uww.edu. We look forward to receiving your application!
