October Intermittent Furlough Entries
For Non-Instructional Academic Staff employees, all furlough taken in the month of October needs to be entered, and approved, by the 15th of the month, to be included in the October payroll process. Please enter furlough on the biweekly timesheet, selecting FURLM in the "Time/Absence Code" column, and enter 4 or 8 hours in the "Quantity" column (pro-rated for part-time employees).
Supervisors, when you are approving furlough entries, it is important that you change the dates on the Payable Time Approvals screen on the Manager Self Service Dashboard, and select refresh. The default dates are the biweekly pay period currently being processed (9/27/20 – 10/10/20). If the dates are not changed to include the full month of October (10/1/20 – 10/31/20), all of the entries that require approval may not be showing.
