Spring 2021 Final Examination Policy
As you are constructing your syllabi for upcoming classes, I want to remind you of our final examination policy. This policy would still hold, even if we happen to be in full remote mode during final exams.
All comprehensive final examinations shall be administered at the prescribed time during the final examination period. For those classes where there is no final examination, the time prescribed during the final examination period shall be used as a class meeting. Exceptions to meeting classes during the examination period requires specific written approval in advance from the college dean.
No student shall be required to take more than two comprehensive final examinations on the same day.
This policy is important for several reasons, but chief among them is our focus on students and their success. Students need to be able to plan their study schedules and need time to make adjustments if necessary. In particular, students with disabilities may need time to arrange for appropriate accommodations.

Thank you for all you are doing to provide safe, high-quality educational experiences.
