Help us welcome future Warhawks
Dear campus colleagues,
Summer provides us the perfect opportunity to connect with prospective students, showcase our UW-Whitewater community, and provide information and support to our future Warhawks.
Campus visits are exciting days for prospective students (and their families) to learn more about the university experience, our campus traditions and what it means to be a Warhawk.
The following events are critical to our enrollment efforts:
- Friday, July 16: Warhawk Preview Day (future students and families exploring campus in depth: touring the residence halls, meeting with academic departments, eating in our dining halls, and learning about how we help students succeed)
- Thursday, July 22: First Year Summer Visit (admitted students for fall 2021 and guests touring campus and connecting with campus resources; ongoing with additional dates on July 23, July 26, and July 27)
- Monday, August 9: Early College Credit Program Visit (high school students beginning their journey as a non-degree students, learning about new student resources and registering for classes)
- Friday, August 13: Warhawk Preview Day
- Ongoing: Daily Whitewater Campus Tours (future students and families exploring campus: touring campus facilities and learning about how we help students succeed. For exact tour dates and times please visit uww.edu/admissions/tour.)
- Ongoing: Rock County Tuesday Tours @ 2 (future students and families exploring the Rock County campus)
Everyone plays a role in recruitment. You can help! It’s easy to get involved. Help us greet future Warhawks and their families by wearing purple, wearing your nametag, answering questions and offering a ready smile! Help make sure our offices, classrooms and campus spaces look their very best.
If you know of additional events where prospective students will be visiting, please let us know at uwwadmit@uww.edu.
We appreciate your help in making our future Warhawks and their families feel welcome!
