Flu vaccines for students, faculty and staff

It has never been more important to voluntarily get your flu vaccine, which has been shown to reduce the risk of influenza illness, hospitalization, and death. Getting a flu vaccine can also help save critical healthcare resources, which are stressed right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
— FOR STUDENTS —
At Andersen Library, room 3102N (Whitewater campus)
Cost: Free
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20
No appointment needed. Everyone will get a free cold care kit with their vaccination.
Students can also call University Health and Counseling Services at 262-472-1300 to make an appointment for the flu vaccine at other times.
— FOR FACULTY, STAFF and SPOUSES —
At your doctor’s office or pharmacy
Cost: FREE with your insurance
Use your medical benefit at any in-network doctor or pharmacy. Just show your Navitus card. (Additional vaccines are also available, including pneumonia, tetanus, hepatitis, shingles, measles, mumps, varicella, meningitis).

You must be enrolled in the State of Wisconsin Insurance Program. Preregistration is required at webmdhealth.com/wellwisconsin. Select “Register” on the Flu Vaccination card. See attached flyer for more information on the vaccine and preparing for your appointment.
Thursday, Nov. 4 on-campus clinic
