Football game day parking
Saturday, Oct. 30, is Homecoming and the fifth home football game for the UW-Whitewater season and, as a reminder, special event parking restrictions will be in place. All commuter parking lots in the area of Perkins Stadium will be paid parking lots on game day and will open three hours prior to kickoff.
Lot 24 and Lot 11 are reserved parking lots, with specific-space purchase available online until 4 p.m. Friday. Lot 24 is sold out for this game, but Lot 11 still has some available spaces at $12 per space. You can also purchase spaces in these parking lots on game day in person at a cost of $20 per space for Lot 11.

Lots 7, 9, 4 and 14 are general admission parking lots that allow you to purchase a general pass online prior to Friday at 4 p.m. for $6 per space. You can also purchase these spaces on game day at a cost of $10 per space. These lots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
All yellow permit or resident lots are closed to anyone without a yellow permit on game day, to include Lots 22, 8, 18, 19, 20 and 3.

For those attending a university class, you will not be charged to park in Lot 14 on game day. Please note, there will be heavy traffic around Perkins Stadium as other athletic events will be taking place.
Homecoming parade parking and lot closures
In addition, on Saturday, Oct. 30, UW-Whitewater will host the annual Homecoming parade starting at 10 a.m. On Friday night starting at 11 p.m., Lots 1 and 2, not including 2R, will be closed for parade set up. Also, North Prairie Street and North Prince Street will be closed for overnight parking starting at 2 a.m. and extending until the parade is complete at 11 a.m.
A new parade route will be in effect this year. The parade will start on North Prince Street, travel east on West Main Street but will then go north on North Prairie Street. We are asking anyone wishing to watch the parade to be parked before 9:45 a.m. as the parade route will be closed. There is an unofficial parade detour in affect by the City of Whitewater Police Department.
Those wishing to watch the parade are allowed to park in Lot 12 for free.
