Greetings!
The Program for Community-based learning is happy to inform you that we are now accepting applications for CBL Course designation for FALL 2022 Community-based learning courses. The application portal will be open until January 15, 2022, for courses scheduled to be taught in FALL 2022.
We encourage everyone who routinely teaches a CBL course to apply for designation, even if you may not be utilizing CBL during this upcoming year but plan to return to it when we return to regular course formats. We understand that our unusual circumstances may require a rethinking of the format for your CBL partnerships and that some may shift to a virtual or alternate format for the short term. We still encourage you to apply for designation, even if you are unsure of how or if you will offer CBL in Fall 2022. Once you have received course designation approval, it is much easier to gain expedited approval for future semesters.
Please see the CBL website for additional information. This same information is also available in the attached brochure, which I would request you share with your colleagues.
Please note that the deadline to apply to have a Fall 2022 course designated as a CBL course is January 15. I encourage you to apply!
To apply, please complete the following Qualtrics Survey:
https://uwwhitewater.co1.qualtrics.com/responses/#/surveys/SV_bwGKIGeiWxHjrSu
You will need to have your course syllabus and supporting information. The process takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
NOTE: If you already have received CBL designation for a course to be taught in Fall 2022, you do not need to reapply. You will be receiving an email from the CBL Office in January asking you to confirm if the course will continue as a CBL course.
Thank you so much for your continued support of CBL!
