COVID-19 updates from the EOC
The UW-Whitewater Emergency Operations Committee has the following updates for the Whitewater and Rock County campuses:
- The COVID-19 hotline is no longer in service, and UW-Whitewater no longer requires students or employees to report if they test positive or are a close contact. If you need information on what to do if you test positive or are exposed to someone positive, please visit the CDC quarantine/Isolation calculator. After you answer a series of questions, this calculator will describe your next steps.
- The Warhawks Are Back website will be archived; information about COVID-19 resources will continue to be available on the UW-Whitewater website.
- COVID-19 testing and vaccination on UW-Whitewater campuses have ceased. If you are looking for testing or vaccination locations, please visit your local county health department’s webpage (see the resources below).
- If you are a student who needs to be seen by a healthcare provider, you can call UHCS at 262-472-1300. If you are a staff or faculty member, please contact your primary care doctor.
The EOC will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 and will keep you informed of any operational changes.
