Flu vaccines for faculty and staff
UW-Whitewater employees,
It has never been more important to voluntarily get your flu vaccine, which has been shown to reduce the risk of influenza illness, hospitalization, and death. Get your vaccine:
Wednesday, Oct. 26 on-campus clinic
Cost: FREE with your insurance
At University Center, room 68 (Whitewater campus) from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
You must be enrolled in the State of Wisconsin Insurance Program. Preregistration is required at webmdhealth.com/wellwisconsin. Select “Register” on the Flu Vaccination card. See attached flyer for more information on the vaccine and preparing for your appointment. Spouses on your coverage may attend this clinic.
At your doctor’s office or pharmacy
Cost: FREE with your insurance
Use your medical benefit at any in-network doctor or pharmacy. Just show your Navitus card. (Additional vaccines are also available, including COVID-19, pneumonia, tetanus, hepatitis, shingles, measles, mumps, varicella, meningitis). Spouses on your coverage may use this option.
At Andersen Library, rooms 1122-1123 (Whitewater campus)
Cost: $20 cash
10 a.m. to Noon Friday, Sept. 23
12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27
10 a.m. to Noon Wednesday, Oct. 12
No appointment needed. Everyone will get a free cold care kit with their vaccination.
At Wells Residence Hall (Jitters)
Cost: $20 cash

At Rock County Campus (Hyatt Smith 111C)
