Cisco AnyConnect (VPN) update
Wednesday, January 18, ICIT will update the Cisco AnyConnect client (VPN) to address vulnerabilities. This update will also transition AnyConnect to a new name: Cisco Secure Client, which brings an icon and appearance change. While in progress, this update will have little impact other than a brief pop-up notification. Continue working through the download; most devices will not require a restart. Additional details:
- For PC users using university-owned devices, the update will also merge the Cisco Secure Endpoint (formerly AMP) client to a module within the Cisco Secure Client.
- Mac devices will retain two separate clients: Cisco Secure Client and Cisco Secure Endpoint (AMP)
