Call for Proposals: UWW 2023-2024 Teaching and Learning Grants
The Office of the Provost invites applications for 2023-24 UWW Teaching and Learning grants. The Teaching and Learning grants program is designed to support small projects in which instructors focus on implementing new tools, techniques, strategies, or approaches within their teaching in order to explore a focused topic. The program will award $1,000 grants to faculty and instructional academic staff looking to integrate new educational methods into their classrooms and learning environments. In keeping with UWW’s commitment to embracing inclusive pedagogy, to exploring and evaluating emerging technologies that foster creative approaches to teaching and learning, we invite applications in the following areas for the 2023-2024 academic term:
- Up to 25 grants will be awarded to support projects related to fostering inclusivity and civil discourse
- Up to 25 grants will be awarded to support projects related to the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool for student learning
Proposals from all disciplines and subject areas are welcome, including those who primarily teach at the Rock County or the Whitewater campus. Awardees are expected to develop, implement, and assess their projects over the next academic year. Successful applicants will be required to work collaboratively with the UWW LEARN Center and LTC to share their project with the wider UWW community (see call for details).
The deadline to submit proposals is September 22, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Click here to apply for a 2023-2024 Teaching and Learning Grant
