Student retention is central to our commitment to student success, and each of us plays a role in making that a reality. As spring 2025 semester registration begins November 4, let’s step up to help students navigate the process smoothly.
Here’s how we can make a difference:
- Guide students to their advisors: Remind students to reach out to their assigned advisors for insights on registration dates and class options. Look here for instructions on locating advisors in WINS/Navigate.
- Help students avoid registration delays: Encourage students to check their “Holds” in WINS and address any issues. Look here for step-by-step instructions.
- Prompt students to complete their “Pre-Enrollment Checklist”: Students should ensure their “Pre-Enrollment Checklist” is completed prior to registering. Look here for detailed instructions.
- Connect students with our resources: Direct them to our advising FAQs. Or for personalized support with registration, direct them to the new One Stop in room 129 of the University Center.
As registration kicks off, a student-first approach can make all the difference. Let’s pause where needed and ensure students feel supported by our campus experts. Every bit of help strengthens their path to success—and ours to a vibrant, thriving campus.
Thank you for all you do! We’re proud of our dedicated team here at UW-Whitewater, and your commitment shines through in the care and encouragement you give our students. Together, we’re making this campus a place where their hopes, dreams, and success matter.
