Donations and end of calendar year
Dear Campus Community,
The UW-Whitewater Foundation offices will be open until 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30. We ask all donations in your possession be delivered to the Foundation by that time.
Reminder: Donations should be made payable to "UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc." Exceptions can be made for existing documented pledges or if the check is made payable to a very specific fund managed by the Foundation (“John Doe Scholarship”).
Checks made payable to "UW-Whitewater" should be taken to the Cashier’s Office and deposited into a 233 gift account for the appropriate department or program.
Our request to you:
- In December and January, please, do not discard post-marked envelopes. Include envelopes with deposits as postmarks determine the donation date. Deposit form is available here >>
- For cash donations, include the name and address of the donor on the deposit form.
- For donations from a business or organization, please include the name of the contact person.
- Checks made payable to University personnel can be endorsed over to the Foundation by signing your name and writing “Pay to the Order of UW-Whitewater Foundation Inc.” in the endorsement area. This will allow the donor to be receipted for tax purposes.
- The Foundation accepts online donations. Online donations received by or prior to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024, will be receipted as a 2024 donation.
