Call for Proposals: UW-Whitewater Upward Bound Intern Opportunity
Deadline: Thursday, April 24, 2025
The Office of PreCollege Programs is pleased to invite applications from departments to host an Upward Bound summer intern or interns. This Intern Opportunity utilizes Upward Bound work-study funding to compensate high school scholars participating in Upward Bound as they explore careers requiring a postsecondary education (PSE) degree. Interns provide valuable contributions to University departments, research initiatives, laboratories, and more.
Placement is determined on a first-come, first-served basis and contingent upon intern availability. Interns will be available from June 16, 2025, to July 9, 2025; Monday through Wednesday; 2:10 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Proposals are welcome from all University departments and areas. Supervisors are expected to incorporate High-Impact Practices principles into the internship experience. Selected applicants are required to collaborate effectively with the Office of PreCollege Programs to ensure the success of the internship.
The deadline to submit proposals is Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
