Spring 2025 Undergraduate Research Day abstracts now being accepted
The Undergraduate Research Program is now accepting abstracts for the 2025 Spring Undergraduate Research Day which will be held on Thursday, March 20, from 9 a.m. through noon in the University Center.
All students are invited to submit an abstract to present their academic research, creative activity, or innovative projects. Presentations can be done as a poster, art display, musical performance, theatrical performance, or, our new category, Course in Undergraduate Research (CURE) mini-poster format. This new category is designed for students to present a research or creative project that was a component in a capstone or research-based course. Faculty and staff if you know of students that did well on a course-based research project please encourage to showcase their work in this brand-new format.
Abstracts for all presentations are due by the end of the day on March 2, 2025. Please visit Spring Undergraduate Research Day Abstract Submission to submit your abstract. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed and URP staff will reach out with directions on how to get poster’s (full-size and mini) printed as well as gathering details about the performance pieces and art displays.
WiSys will also be holding our annual Quick Pitch competition on this day as well. All students are welcome to register and partiicpate in this event for a chance to win some cash prizes.
