
Update to class and lab computers
Starting on February 22, the "Shut down" option will be removed from class and lab computers, including instructor station computers. Please "Sign Out" or "Restart" after using these shared computers. Computers will be shut down through an automated process every night.
This change will ensure better experiences for instructors and students. IT Services identified this as a way to reduce issues in presenting course material at instructor stations. It comes with the added benefit of improving the management of system updates, security patches, and overall network stability.
