Call for UW-Whitewater Representatives: The Discussion Project
Dear UW-Whitewater Faculty and Instructors,
The Universities of Wisconsin is partnering with The Discussion Project at UW-Madison for an intensive 3-day training. The aim of this professional development series is to strengthen our capacity to create welcoming, engaging, and academically rigorous classroom environments in which students experience productive classroom discussions on important issues and topics, specifically enhancing our students’ experiences by fostering excellence in teaching, learning, and civic engagement.
UW-Whitewater has been invited to send faculty/instructors to participate in a three-day course on Wednesday, June 25, through Friday, June 27, 2025, in Madison. Participants would be expected to either run programming in cooperation with LEARN/LTC and/or present at the 2026 Celebrating Teaching and Learning Conference to share what they learned with our broader campus communities.
