Grant Proposal and Awards Update
To ensure that all proposals and contracts undergo the necessary review and comply with federal and institutional guidelines, all externally funded proposals must be submitted to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSPsubmit@uww.edu) at least fifteen business days prior to the funding agency's submission deadline. This applies to:
- Grant proposals, awards, and amendments funded by federal, non-federal, or state dollars
- Contracts or agreements with federal agencies
- Assurances or certifications at any stage of the process
This lead time allows for thorough vetting, which may include review by the Office of General Counsel, as well as the required approval and signature by the Chancellor or Provost.
Please note that proposals, regardless of funding source, submitted after the deadline will not be guaranteed submission by the funding agency's deadline.
For any communications you receive related to compliance with executive orders, new terms and conditions, or requests for certification, please forward them to the email address above. Researchers and PIs should not sign or certify and documents.
