VBrick Rev (streaming.uww.edu) Is Moving to Kaltura
Beginning in Summer 2025, UW-Whitewater will transition from its current media management platform, VBrick Rev (streaming.uww.edu), to Kaltura.
Kaltura offers a user-friendly experience with features such as auto-captioning and seamless integration with Canvas. Instructors, students, and staff can easily upload, store, stream, and share—or restrict—videos using the platform.
Starting now, we recommend using Kaltura to create or upload new instructional media content. The ability to upload to VBrick Rev will be disabled on August 1, 2025. However, videos already on VBrick Rev will remain accessible for viewing, embedding, and editing. IT Services and CATLST will work throughout the month of August to migrate videos from VBrick Rev to Kaltura. No video loss or service disruption is expected during this transition.
