UW-Whitewater launches campaign: “Our Stories. Our Future.”

 

Dear Warhawks,

Together, we officially launched UW-Whitewater’s $50 million+ “Our Stories. Our Future.” campaign on Thursday, June 12. Chancellor King, members of our Foundation Board, and our Division of University Relations team held an unforgettable event at the UW-Whitewater baseball clubhouse.

The energy was incredible thanks to a spirited audience, engaging speakers, and the excitement of several university accomplishments over the past year, including the Warhawk baseball team’s recent run to the national championship. It’s clear that momentum behind the campaign is building — more than 20 current, incoming, emeritus, and past Foundation Board Directors were joined in attendance by many other alums, students, stakeholders, community members, faculty, and staff, including leadership from all academic colleges. 

Since building the framework for the campaign four years ago, we are more than halfway to our $50 million goal. Funds raised will support scholarships, innovation, faculty development, and campus enhancement projects like Winther Hall to ensure our continued excellence.

This campaign goes beyond the dollars. Behind a common belief in UW-Whitewater and its ability to change the trajectory of students’ lives, we are excited to bring people together to use their knowledge, connections, and resources to enhance student success. Our stories and experiences drive the university forward.
