End of Semester Message from the Provost

Dear Faculty Colleagues,

As we conclude the academic year, thank you for your resilience and dedication through a particularly challenging period. From Canvas disruptions to the changes associated with Act 15, you continued to support our students and uphold our academic mission with professionalism and care. I am deeply grateful for all you have done.

I’m also pleased to share the introduction of a new electronic portfolio for promotion to professor, complementing the existing system for tenure-track faculty. With this addition, all faculty promotion processes will now be fully electronic—eliminating the need for binders and streamlining review workflows. Information about both portfolio systems is available in the Academic Affairs “Purple Book” website.
