Help us welcome prospective Warhawks this fall
Dear campus colleagues,
We wanted to share opportunities during September and October to connect with prospective students, showcase our UW-Whitewater community, and provide information and support to our future Warhawks on both of our campuses.
Campus visits are exciting days for prospective students and their families to learn more about the university experience, our campus traditions and what it means to be a Warhawk — and faculty, staff and current students are vital ambassadors in that process. Help us greet future Warhawks and their families by:
-
Wearing purple and displaying your name tag
-
Answering questions and offering a ready smile
-
Making sure your offices, classrooms and campus spaces look their very best
If you know of additional events where prospective students will be visiting, please let us know at news@uww.edu.
The UW-Whitewater Admissions office operates daily campus tours Monday through Friday, with tours led by a current Warhawk. Tour experiences last approximately 2 hours, including a presentation and a walking tour.
Saturday, Sept. 12
Saturday, Oct. 17
Saturday campus tours on the Whitewater campus provide prospective students and their families with a unique opportunity to visit campus outside of our regular daily tour schedules. Saturday tours draw a larger group of participants, and attendees enjoy an admissions overview and a campus tour.
Saturday, Oct. 3
Friday, Oct. 30
Warhawk Preview Days provide prospective students with an immersive visit experience. Students and families meet with representatives from our academic colleges, explore our many areas of campus support, and learn about how to apply to UW-Whitewater.

Daily campus tours and group visits on the Whitewater Campus
Prospective future students, their families, and high school and community groups experience how UW-Whitewater is focused on student success, meet an admissions counselor, and take a tour of campus.
Prospective students and families explore the Rock County campus every Tuesday at 2 p.m. Spanish-language tours are available if reserved in advance.
UW-Whitewater Admissions hosts a variety of virtual events monthly, including information sessions and virtual tours, student panels, housing and dining sessions, and more.
