Position Opening - Faculty Director of the Office of Global Experiences
The Department of Student Diversity, Engagement and Success (SDES) is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Director of the newly organized Office of Global Experiences (OGE). The Director of OGE oversees the general administration, leadership and growth of for-credit and co-curricular international programming including: study abroad and exchanges, field study, travel study, student teaching, service-learning and international internships. The position will begin in the 2018-19 academic year. The director position is a 50% faculty teaching reassignment position for a one-year term with the possibility of renewal. The director will join the leaders of our other High-Impact Practices as part of the suite of programs offered by SDES to provide “experiences that champion student diversity, engagement, educational achievement and success” and reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Diversity, Engagement and Success, Dr. LaVar Charleston.
