The Office of Human Resources and Diversity will be hosting two one-hour sessions regarding the implementation of approved policies related to grievances, layoffs, workplace conduct expectations and complaint procedures. In the sessions we will discuss specific workplace expectations and the communication of these expectations as well as other policies to your direct reports.
If you are a supervisor of a university staff (formerly classified staff) employee, please attend one of these sessions. We will hold additional sessions this fall for those supervisors (example: Faculty.AS) who are not on campus at this time. We wish for supervisors to have the first opportunity to hear the material and ask questions so you have a clear understanding of the new policies and can answer your employees’ questions after they attend their sessions.
The sessions will be held
July 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Johnson Controls Classroom, Hyland 2100
and
July 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. in UC 259A

Additionally, the week of July 13 we will be holding sessions for university staff employees. It is expected that employees be allowed to attend one of these sessions. Please work with your staff to ensure adequate departmental coverage and allow for attendance at one of the sessions.
