United Way Campaign Update
Greetings, all! At $3,618 pledged or donated to date, we have raised almost a third of our 2018 United Way Workplace Giving goal of $12,000. The campaign runs through Nov. 30, but here are a couple of dates to keep in mind:
- If you submit your pledge form or contribution by Friday, Nov. 9, you will be entered into the drawing for a free parking permit for August 2019 – July 2020.
- If you submit your pledge form or contribution by Friday, Nov. 16, you will be entered into the drawing for a signed Packers football.
I also have Live United t-shirts for new donors; I will contact you for your t-shirt size and deliver the shirt to you. In addition, any new gift of $25 or more, any gift that has increased from the most recent gift by $25 or more, or any gift over $250 automatically enters a donor into a drawing for one of four prizes: a laptop, an iPad, a high definition TV, and a Kindle Fire.
The United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties (UWJNWC) works through its local partner organizations and volunteers to get the most impact from your contributions. For an update on how United Way promotes health, education, and financial stability in our communities, watch “75 Years of Support,” a video by UW-Whitewater student Richard Houcque. The video is available at https://youtu.be/riKeVhgrhlQ.
You can also support United Way through volunteering or advocacy. For volunteer opportunities in Jefferson County and Whitewater, visit http://www.volunteermain.com/ or spread the word about United Way by sharing the "75 Years of Support" video with friends and colleagues.
The pledge form is attached to this email, along with UWJNWC's annual report from 2017-2018. You can also contact me at burtonk@uww.edu for a pledge form, or download one from the UWJNWC website at http://uwjnwc.com/annual-campaign/campaign-materials/. Thank you again for your continued generosity.
