Training for active threat situations
In an emergency, C.R.A.S.E. principles can save your life. During Civilain Response to Active Shooter Events training, UW-Whitewater Police will provide you with information to assist in the decision-making process necessary during an active threat situation. Learn how to prepare yourself BEFORE you are faced with a life-threatening situation. Assistant Chief Matt Schwartz and/or Officer Kelsey Servi will give the presentations.
Programs will be held:
10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in University Center, room 68
8-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in University Center, room 69
2-3:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, in University Center, room 68
If you or your group would like C.R.A.S.E. training but are unable to attend, contact the University Police at 262-472-4660 to set up a special session. University Police can also provide tailored trainings to your specific area, providing discussion on develop of localized plans of action and escape.
