Donations received by the UW-Whitewater Foundation with a USPS post mark of Dec. 31, 2018 or before, will be processed as a 2018 donation.
The Foundation offices will be open until 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 and ask for all donations in your possession to be delivered by that time. Any donations received by the end of Foundation business hours on Dec. 28, must include the 2018 postmarked envelope to be counted as 2018 donation.
All donations should be made payable to the UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc.
Checks made payable to UW-Whitewater should be taken to the cashier’s office and deposited into a 233 gift account for the appropriate department or program unless there is a pledge in place substantiating donor’s intent, or the check is made payable to a very specific fund managed by the Foundation (“John Doe Scholarship”).
Please note: • In December and January, do not discard post-marked envelopes. Include envelopes with Foundation deposits. Postmarks determine the donation date. • Deposit forms are available here >> For cash donations, include name and address of donor on deposit form. • Checks made payable to University personnel can be made payable to the Foundation. On the back, sign name and write “Pay to the Order of UW-Whitewater Foundation Inc.” This allows donors to be receipted. • The UW-Whitewater Foundation, Inc. accepts online donations. Any donation received prior to 11:59 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, will be receipted as a 2018 donation.
