Spring 2020 Final Examination Policy
Dear Colleagues,
As you are constructing your syllabi for upcoming classes, I want to remind you of our final examination policy.
All comprehensive final examinations shall be administered at the prescribed time during the final examination period. For those classes where there is no final examination, the time prescribed during the final examination period shall be used as a regular class meeting. Exceptions to meeting classes during the examination period requires specific written approval in advance from the college dean. No student shall be required to take more than two comprehensive final examinations on the same day.
This policy is important for several reasons, but chief among them is our focus on students and their success. Students need to be able to plan their study schedules and need time to make adjustments if necessary. In particular, students with disabilities may need time to arrange for appropriate accommodations.
For the University Final Examination Policy, please see http://www.uww.edu/documents/registrar/Schedule_of_Classes/2020%20Spring%20Exam%20Schedule.pdf.
Thank you,
