Rock County’s COVID-19 level is high
COVID-19 levels in Rock County are now reported to be at a high community level. Walworth and Jefferson counties remain low, but Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha counties are also currently high.
According to the CDC, the following precautions are suggested as a means of protecting yourself when community levels are high:
- Wear a mask indoors in public
- Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
- Get tested if you have symptoms
- Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness
Note that masks are optional and not required on either the Rock County or Whitewater campus. The EOC will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19 and will keep you informed of any operational changes.
