The Undergraduate Research Program calls for presenters for Spring 2023 Undergraduate Research Day
Spring 2023 Undergraduate Research Day will take place this year Thursday, March 23, in the University Center from Noon to 3:30 p.m.
Register by Feb. 16 >>
This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their research or other scholarly or creative projects that can include research from:
- Undergraduate Research Grants
- Research from other programs such as King Chavez Scholars, McNair Scholars, Honors, and the Research Apprentice Program (RAP), among others.
- Independent Study
- Research done for class
- Performing arts (literary readings, theater, music or dance)
- Visual arts (art exhibit)
Faculty, if you have students who have exemplary work, please encourage them to participate in this wonderful opportunity.
This year there will be a competition for the best poster and oral presentation at Spring 2023, Undergraduate Research Day. Once applications are submitted, mentors will be contacted to nominate the student's work. Students, please let your mentor know to be on the lookout for that nomination form.
All students involved in undergraduate research projects are invited to present their research at this event. The event is open to all student presenters and attendees from all disciplines! Students who were involved in the Undergraduate Research Program in the 2022- 2023 academic year are invited, encouraged, and/or required to present their research. Students who are doing research this Spring and have early results or data are encouraged to present as well.
The URP will be pleased to print out your posters free of charge. We will send you more details later. We look forward to seeing your posters, oral presentations, and art exhibits. If you have any questions regarding the registration or any other information, feel free to contact the URP office at urp@uww.edu.
