Campus Climate Survey Update
The UW-Whitewater Campus Climate Survey for faculty and staff closed on February 12. The Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Committee is very pleased to report that we received feedback from nearly 50% of faculty and 60% of staff, significantly exceeding our participation records from previous years.
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to the faculty and staff who worked to prepare the survey, plan and implement the roll out, and helped to encourage this response.
We’d also like to thank everyone who completed the survey and shared your thoughts with us. Our ability to make meaningful, informed decisions as a university and a community relies on understanding one another’s perspectives and experiences, and this survey provides an important piece of that understanding. Raffle winners randomly selected from participants will be notified within the next two weeks.
The Higher Education Research Institute (HERI), which administered the survey, usually provides universities participating in the Faculty and Staff Climate Surveys results in late July/early August. At that time, the Chancellor’s Inclusive Excellence Committee will work with campus leadership to review the results, share them, and begin using your feedback to guide decision-making as we move into the 2024-25 academic year.
